Quality Lab Tester - Quality (Dallas)

About the role

Work in a plant quality lab setting, performing various quality testing tasks in a factory environment. Learn testing duties through instruction and self-study, recognize and respond to test trends, and contribute to safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety and housekeeping requirements within the lab.
• Perform quality testing tasks and record data as required.
• Learn and operate lab testing equipment, troubleshooting as needed.
• Interpret verbal and written work instructions.
• Apply basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Take measurements to verify product specifications.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Participate in plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adapt to scheduling requirements, including shift work, overtime, and weekends.

Requirements

• Able to work safely in a manufacturing lab setting and follow all safety rules.
• Ability to learn lab testing equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work Nights shift (7pm – 7am), up to 56 hours per week.
