Manufacturing and warehouse operations are located throughout Illinois and Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure product conformity at final inspection while maintaining verification documentation.
  • Perform final inspection on parts using a variety of inspection equipment.
  • Verify products received from outside services (e.g., heat treating, plating) through testing and documentation review.
  • Maintain job verification documentation.
  • Support the Gage Calibration System by ensuring all gages are available and calibrated.
  • Sort mixed or non-conforming parts as needed.
  • Perform data entry and prepare certifications for shipment.
  • Initiate and follow up on non-conformances.
  • Provide support to manufacturing, sales, and other quality personnel when needed.
  • Maintain daily housekeeping of the work area and Quality office, including filing documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Ability to maintain focus and accuracy through repetitive product inspection.
  • Effective problem-solving and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in using and caring for precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, comparator, attribute gages).
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and part drawings.
  • Basic knowledge of algebra, geometry, decimals, fractions, and metric/English conversion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
  • Ability to work in a moderately clean manufacturing environment.
