Quality Intern
About the role
AK is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Intern to support our Quality and Regulatory Affairs team. This internship offers hands-on experience in food industry quality systems, regulatory compliance, and data management.
Responsibilities
- Data reporting, digital transition of analytical testing results, and statistical monitoring
- Review internal specifications across US locations for alignment
- Regulatory updates (newsletters, presentations, trackers)
- Customer statement reviews for AAK global compliance and US regulatory compliance
- Global QFS management system standardization support
- Quality/Regulatory research and reporting
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Food Science, Food Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with data management tools is a plus
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
