Quality Inspector Weekend Shift
About the role
Hayden Industrial, a leading manufacturer of industrial cooling systems, is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform inspections, checks, and tests for quality control in the manufacture of products.
This position involves safety-sensitive job duties and will be considered a safety-sensitive position for purpose of the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act (“The Unity Bill.”)
Responsibilities
- Performs final quality inspection of finished products in accordance with established procedures.
- Documents all instances of rejected products or raw material problems in daily production reports.
- Inspects incoming raw materials as materials are received.
- Documents appropriate information for quality inspection reports for each order.
- Creates and maintains current files for all quality related correspondence.
- Resolves customer complaints or problems regarding rejected or non-conforming products.
- Reports any unusual discrepancies or problems promptly to management.
- Suggests new testing or inspection methods to minimize inspection efforts required.
- Trains co-workers in quality control concepts as requested.
- Performs necessary maintenance of equipment as needed.
- Scans floor folders to project files.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 – 3 years’ experience as quality inspector required.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products required.
- Ability to commute to Tulsa, OK 740117.
Work Environment
Non-temperature controlled environment with loud noises, dust, dirt, and metal particles typically associated with metal fabrication shops. All employees are required to wear personal protective equipment including noise/hearing protection, safety glasses with side shields (paint masks, respirator when required), and OSHA-compliant safety boots/shoes within the manufacturing facility.

- Regularly required to stand for long periods of time.
- Requires walking, the ability to reach, ascend/descend ladders, bend, kneel, and stoop.
- Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Schedule
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Friday through Sunday, 5:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
