About the role
The CNC Quality Inspector ensures parts/order fulfillment for a specific order are consistent with customer requirements before they are sent to shipping. This opening is for the Weekday Nights (WDN) shift.
Responsibilities
- Conduct X,Y,Z measurements
- Conduct visual cosmetic inspection
- Conduct part count verification
- Inspect completed order for packaging accuracy
- Inspect completed orders for fulfillment accuracy
- Enter process information into computer
- Identify quality issues relating to manufacturing processes and order fulfillment
- Interface with shift supervisor and/or quality control staff regarding order quantities and part quality
- Determine if an order is shippable
- Transport finished parts to shipping area
- Communicate with the CQRs as needed
- Provide feedback to team leads / Supervisors, any necessary training needs to the Production floor
- Adehere to all quality and safety standards within the department
- Maintain clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and utilization
- Continually seek to improve work processes and individual performance
- Adehere to all company policies and operational procedures
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to comprehend and follow printed and computer-screen instructions, and direction from supervisors or technical leads
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Able to use measuring instruments such as scales, and calipers
- Able to work safely with sharp tools/objects, such as but not limited to, hobby knives, utility knives, diagonal-cutting pliers
- Able to use a computer and calculator
- Able to read and write in English, and do basic arithmetic
- Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
- Must be punctual and have good attendance

- High school diploma or equivalent degree
