Quality Inspector - Urgent Need (Medical Device Exp)

Location: Andover, MA • Duration: 12 months • Schedule: 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM), 40 hours/week • Pay rate: $20–$30/hour • Employment type: W2 contract (US citizens or green-card holders only)

About the role

The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting materials, assemblies, work-in-progress, and finished medical devices, and completing documentation to determine conformance to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections per documented specifications
• Conduct testing in conformance with regulations and standards
• Analyze inspection results and determine final product disposition
• Detect nonconforming conditions and identify basic non-compliance within regulations and standards
• Work within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods
• Adhere to quality guidelines and comply with regulations and standards
• Interpret drawings and geometric dimensions and tolerances
• Use standard measuring equipment (calipers, RAM optic, micrometers, pin gauges, gage blocks, etc.)
• Follow calibrated-equipment manual procedures

Requirements

• 3+ years of Quality Control Inspection experience, preferably in an ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and/or FDA-regulated environment
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment
• Familiarity with continuous improvement activities
• Attention to detail and ability to work with small components
