About the Role

ODW Logistics is a people-focused and customer-driven third-party logistics (3PL) provider committed to delivering seamless end-to-end supply chain solutions. Our extensive range of services includes supply chain design and innovation, warehousing, efficient distribution and fulfillment, freight brokerage, transportation management, and specialized e-commerce fulfillment solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect all incoming materials to verify compliance to specifications. Accept or reject shipments based on inspection results.
  • Monitor supplier performance using inspection records.
  • Prepare and maintain a database to establish parameters and procedures to determine acceptable statistically based data, based on levels of acceptance or rejection of materials.
  • Prepare a written manual detailing receiving procedure to include supplier requirements and company specifications for materials.
  • Ensure the work area is kept in a safe and orderly manner.
  • Perform inspections on the production floor or warehouse as required by management based on workload.
  • Participate in the Cross Training program as many times as Management requires depending on business growth.
  • Other duties as assigned.

This position works flexible hours, including weekends and at all company facilities.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum one-year experience working as a Quality Control Inspector using quality control techniques, statistical process control, and supplier/vendor quality control experience.
  • Basic understanding of statistical procedures.
  • Microsoft Excel experience.
  • On-the-job training is provided by the company.

Skills

  • Ability to hear, read, comprehend, write, and communicate.
