Responsibilities
- Serve as quality person for assigned departments, select proper weld procedures, track material and ASME pipe welds, gather documentation to develop turnovers, and perform VT, MT, and PT NDE testing.
- Inspect, verify completeness and quality of work performed by PROENERGY personnel against drawings and/or specifications.
- Ensure tests and procedures are properly understood and carried out.
- Generate various quality process performance reports and initiate corrective actions as needed.
- Generate/maintain database for in-process and final inspection information.
- Ensure proper inspection and supplier documentation is maintained throughout the entire process.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in related disciplines in the industrial workplace.
- Able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment.
Desired Qualifications
- American Weld Society Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) credentials.
- Read and interpret F&ID, P&ID, WPS drawings, standards and specifications.
- Ability to perform routine Inspection and Test Plan Surveillance tasks with no supervision.
- Experience working in an ISO 9001 quality system.
- Able to run controlled experiments under direction of engineering/manufacturing.
- Proficiency in use of tape measure and calibrated tooling.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
Essential Functions
- Qualified candidate must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform the following essential functions:
- Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 15 pounds on a regular basis such as files, books, office equipment, etc.,
- Infrequently moving materials weighing up to 40 pounds required.
- Inspect in indoor and outdoor conditions.
