At Riverpoint Medical in Northeast Portland, you will be part of the process that brings great technology to medical, dental, and veterinary markets. We specialize in the design and manufacturing of premium medical devices, including suture technologies, sports medicine fibers and anchors, surgical lighting, and special needle technologies.
About the role
The Quality Inspector will work with production to support all aspects of quality assurance and control, testing and inspecting products as directed by the Quality Manager.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties and tasks assigned by the Quality Manager
- Perform finished goods and in-process inspections to ensure overall quality requirements are met
- Manage multiple priorities and timelines to ensure production schedules are maintained
- Test animal health and orthopedics products
- Perform label quality control to verify and approve labeling requirements per product specifications
- Perform sampling-based visual inspection to ensure product meets specifications
- Collaborate with other quality team members and cross-functional personnel to address identified issues
- Execute good documentation practices (GDP) while performing responsibilities
Requirements
- Ability to read and understand documentation relating to the manufacture and inspection of all products
- Ability to effectively communicate in English orally and in writing, and interact with assembly technicians
- Computer skills, including Word and Excel
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs in the course of performing job functions
- High School Diploma or GED
Qualifications
Previous QC experience is preferred but not required.
