Quality Inspector II
About the role
Your responsibilities will be to adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and relevant regulations, standards, and procedures. You will perform First Article Inspection, dimensional/ GD&T inspections on components, conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspections, participate in quality audits, document nonconformances, and perform product inspections and tests according to established standards.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and relevant regulations, standards, and procedures.
- Perform First Article Inspection, dimensional/ GD&T inspections on components, and troubleshoot failed valves.
- Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspections as per procedures.
- Participate in quality audits and inspections, addressing findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Perform product inspections and tests in accordance with established quality standards, inspection plans, and test procedures.
- Document nonconformance reports with adequate details.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2+ years of Quality inspection experience.
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings and performing inspection.
- Proficient in use of general Measuring & Test equipment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
- High-energy, dynamic personality.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Welding/NDE inspection ASME codes (I, II, V, VIII, and IX), PED (European Pressure Equipment Directive), programming knowledge in ZEISS CALYPSO or Mitutoyo MCOSMOS or HEXAGON -PC-DMIS, and working experience in Assembly/Test of valves or Machining.
Skills
Knowledge of quality management systems, proficiency in inspection and testing, ability to communicate effectively, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
