Quality Inspector II - 1st Shift

The hours for this role are 7am-3:30pm. The hourly rate for this position is $24.50-$27.50 per hour.

What You’ll Do

• Perform inspections of parts, assemblies, and documentation.
• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections on parts and products, including but not limited to mechanical and visual inspections.
• Work to approved inspection checklists, engineering drawings, purchase orders, work instructions and specifications.
• Utilize Non-Conforming Material Control process to document parts that do not meet specifications.
• Ensure that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities.

Qualifications Required (Basic)

• A High School diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• 2 years of experience with mechanical and visual inspection of parts and assemblies.
• 2 years of experience using business class software in a professional employment setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with Lean Six Sigma.
• Previous experience with Advanced Part Quality Planning (APQP).
• Previous experience with interpreting Engineering Drawings, Workmanship Standards, Military and Federal Specifications, and basic GD&T (Basic Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Previous experience with First Article Inspection (FAI).
• AS9102, ASQ Mechanical Inspector Certification.

Pay & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $24.50-$27.50 per hour. Eaton does not sponsor employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
