Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience measuring parts of all sizes with tolerances of ±0.001
Responsibilities
- Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
- Ability to operate all inspection equipment such as but not limited to: Faro Arm, Micro Height, ID/OD micrometers, calipers
- Read and interpret blueprints, standard operating procedures, and customer/regulatory requirements and inspect parts to these documents
- Ability to do machine set up verification and first article inspections of parts on the machines
- Initiate non-conformance reports and any other quality records required by EMW, customers, and any third party agency
- Initiate corrective action request when conditions adverse to part quality are repetitive in nature
- Ability to perform all job duties of lower level inspections
- Assist in training of lower level employees
- Perform daily and regular cleaning in work area
- Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures
- Bring problems to the attention of Managers, Supervisors, and Group Leaders
- Follow daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings
