The Production Quality Inspector will be responsible for receiving and confirming defective material, diligently tracking parts, troubleshooting, and dispositioning material. They will develop relationships with other cross-functional departments to drive disposition of parts and evaluate concerns versus returns.
What You'll Do
- Perform database transactions to manage the tracking, receiving, and storing of failed parts
- Systematically mark parts as special interest for expedited return to engineers and technicians
- Route parts back to Suppliers, Quality Engineering, or Recycling based on guidance and instructions, maintaining data integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of defect material throughput
- Systematically log information and provide data input and output reports to assist in driving improvements
- Conduct audits and support corrective actions based on defect reasons
- Disposition defect material and sort material by viewing work instructions
- Maintain 5S and MRB best practices

- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
