Quality Inspector (Day Shift)

The Production Quality Inspector will be responsible for receiving and confirming defective material, diligently tracking parts, troubleshooting, and dispositioning material. They will develop relationships with other cross-functional departments to drive disposition of parts and evaluate concerns versus returns.

What You'll Do

• Perform database transactions to manage the tracking, receiving, and storing of failed parts
• Systematically mark parts as special interest for expedited return to engineers and technicians
• Route parts back to Suppliers, Quality Engineering, or Recycling based on guidance and instructions, maintaining data integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of defect material throughput
• Systematically log information and provide data input and output reports to assist in driving improvements
• Conduct audits and support corrective actions based on defect reasons
• Disposition defect material and sort material by viewing work instructions
• Maintain 5S and MRB best practices
