About the role
3M is seeking Quality Inspector candidates in Clarkston, Georgia. Full-time 2nd Shift & 3rd Shifts available.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting products to determine compliance with order specifications, customer requirements, and company's quality control system
- Assuring compliance with legal requirements, and shipping and packing facilities for conformity to specified standards
- Excellent visual skills to detect minute non-conformances (ex: cracks, voids, tool marks, etc.)
- Operate small hand tools and process equipment with dexterity
- Work with precision tools and equipment using good judgment to prevent damage to equipment, to understand equipment operation, and to be efficient
Requirements
- Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)
- Previous quality inspection experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
Qualifications
- Experience in an aerospace or defense related industry
- Security Clearance
Pay
Starting pay: $22.52 per hour.
