Quality Inspector - 3rd Shift

Shift Details

• 3rd Shift: (Monday-Friday 12:00 am - 8:00 am)

About The Role

You will play a key role in ensuring product quality at every stage of the production process. You will conduct routine quality checks, document findings, and coordinate the handling of non-conforming products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine quality checks on raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP) products, assembly products, and finished goods across all departments.
• Write reports on testing findings.
• Record data into check sheets and software.
• Cookordination the placement of non-conforming products into the QC hold area.
• Cookordination and assist in sorting inspections/repacking items from the QC hold area.
• Maintain order/cleanliness of the QC hold area.
• Ensure the quality of corrugation, bags, labels, and pallets are acceptable quality.
• Communicate with the other team members and management about quality issues.
• During peak periods, team members may be required to work extended hours as business needs dictate.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs. on a consistent basis.
