Quality Inspector - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Inspect cabs in‑process and at final stage for structural and visual consistency and accuracy per documented internal procedural requirements.
• Perform internal/external customer‑ or facility‑specific inspection processes.
• Conduct internal/external product dimensional and cosmetic inspection checks in accordance with product specifications.
• Prepare cabs for shipment (assembly; rivnut; installation or removal of parts per guidelines, etc.).
• Complete all necessary paperwork and system entries in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications

• Successfully mastered all inspection protocols and applicable test equipment.
• Knowledge of physical steel and/or composite properties.
• Working knowledge of quality control, welding processes, final assembly, and paint processes.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Computer skills (MS Word, Excel) preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to comprehend and retain internal requirements.
• Physical ability to handle brief exertions and stand for periods of time.
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints and distinguish part numbers, components, fittings, etc.
• Understanding and adherence to the quality policy and procedures.
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and other inspection devices.
• Understanding of customer and product requirements (both incoming and in‑process).
• Previous inspection experience preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
