WE ARE GROWING OUR SOUTHBRIDGE, MA LOCATION AND WE ARE A GREAT PLACE TO WORK! We are actively seeking a 2nd shift Quality inspector III at our Southbridge, MA facility. Candidate will perform complex inspections and train inspectors to inspect assemblies and finished product for Aviation, Defense, and Space designs. Requires inspection using a microscope and some product bench testing. Responsibilities Perform in-process quality inspections, receiving inspections ( to include GD&T) and final product inspectionsIdentification and verification of current documents, drawings and procedures for specific processesRecord, distribute and file appropriate data gathered from inspections and testing as per instructionsAbility to use computer systems to perform daily functions and documentationMust be capable of handling delicate materialsEffectively communicate with supervisors and operators if defects are identifiedPosition will work under direct supervision with company policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Qualifications U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)High School Diploma or equivalent, college or technical coursework leading to a degree or certificate is perferred3-5 years manufacturing inspection experience (quality control) preferred (position may be filled at higher or lower grade level based on experience)Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as a part of teamCapable of reading blueprintsStrong knowledge of optical comparatorsProficiency with using caliper, micrometer, drop indicator, gauges and other standard Quality measuring devicesStrong basic arithmetic skillsUnderstanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Standards (GD&T.)ERP usage a must.
