Quality Inspector (2nd Shift)

As a Quality Inspector, you will assist in administering quality functions to ensure adherence to quality standards and other applicable regulatory standards, supporting manufacturing and servicing operations.
Work schedule: 2:00pm to 10:30pm
Location: 2501 Sanders Road, Northbrook, IL 60062
Responsibilities
- Conduct component and assembly incoming, in-process, and final product inspections to appropriate standards utilizing blueprints and inspection measurement equipment.
- Perform product testing utilizing various production qualification equipment.
- Identify, segregate, and document rejected components and materials.
- Participate on a Material Review Board to review and process non-conformance reports.
- Enter and retrieve inspection and non-conformance data from local and global systems.
- Review related Quality documentation such as Device History Records (DHRs) or calibration records.
- Support local problem-solving activities and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Read and interpret blueprints and written instructions.
Requirements
- 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment and/or Quality experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to generate detailed, high-quality documentation.
- Ability to work with others in analyzing and solving technical problems.
- Attention to detail and ability to interpret written instructions.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) when working with others.
CNC experience preferred. Candidates with prior CNC machine operation, setup, machining, or precision manufacturing experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
