About the Role
Join a family-owned company with over 65 years of tradition in precision machining. As a Quality Inspector, you’ll support tight-tolerance component inspection for Aerospace, Defense, and Industrial applications in a clean, organized, and team-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-process and final inspection of machined parts
- Ensure parts are clean and free of debris prior to inspection
- Safely handle parts using forklifts, overhead cranes, and jib cranes
- Use manual measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges) to verify parts meet customer and quality requirements (AS9100, ISO 9001)
- Document inspection results and maintain traceability
- Identify and segregate nonconforming product
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
Requirements
- 2+ years of mechanical inspection experience (preferred)
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills
- Experience with manual inspection equipment
- Background in Machining or Manufacturing
- Ability to operate (or become certified in) forklifts and crane systems
