Quality Inspector 2 - Day Shift

About the role
Assists in tasks and duties related to quality control processes to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards.
Responsibilities
- Test products and services, analyze results, and make recommendations for improvements
- Ensure products and services meet specifications
- Use required gaging instruments and apply them appropriately
- Manage, maintain, rebuild, and repair gaging equipment per standards as needed
- Run and monitor inspection equipment (gages, etc.) to record and analyze quality data
- Purchase gaging supplies and equipment as needed
- Understand and ensure regulatory compliance
- Recommend modifications to standards, methods, and procedures
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
- Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area)
- Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Perform work under general supervision
- Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff
- Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter
Qualifications
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years of experience.
