Who We Want
Miller Industries is seeking a Quality Inspector for our 1st Shift at our location in Burton, Michigan. The 1st Shift hours are Monday - Friday, 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with some overtime hours on weekends as needed for production.
What You Will Be Doing
- Verify conformance to drawing and specifications
- Inspect parts, assemblies and subassemblies to drawings and prints
- Initiate non-conformance reports on all parts and assemblies that are not to drawing and print specifications
- Assure that manufactured units meet quality control procedures, engineering specifications and customer requirements
- Initiate corrective action requests when conditions adverse to quality are repetitive in nature
- Complete, inspect, and distribute all quality records and documents
- Perform specialized testing as required

Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- 3 - 5 years of experience in quality inspection required, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Able to use a variety of hand inspection tools to conduct inspections
- Must be able to interpret manufacturing drawings and have a strong background in quality tolerances and dimensional inspection
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must
- Computer skills are required
