Quality Inspector - 1st shift

About the role
The Quality Inspector I inspects parts to appropriate visual and dimensional customer specifications, shares responsibility for final quality to the customer, runs reports, understands work cell priorities, and works closely with production. This role is dedicated to "on time" results and committed to having no customer returns.
Selection for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology under ITAR and EAR regulations. Eligible candidates must qualify as a U.S. citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, asylee, refugee, or national of a non-prohibited country, or be approved for an export license by the governing agency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct dimensional inspections and apply correct customer specifications or exceptions using sales orders.
- Read and understand part prints and tolerances; know the order of governing documents.
- Use a variety of measuring and data recording equipment, including micrometers (various types and sizes), profilometer, and metallographic camera.
- Prepare reports, calculate, and record statistical data to reflect the quality status of products.
