Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday

Responsibilities
What’s a typical day as a Quality Control Inspector? You’ll be:
- Performing visual, mechanical, and functional inspections of plastic, sheet metal, and electronic/electro-mechanical parts for conformance to customer specifications.
- Documenting quality results in real-time, entering data into internal systems and logbooks.
- Providing feedback to Engineers, obtaining and maintaining drawings and procedures, and performing inspections across various production lines as needed.
- Inspecting printed circuit board assemblies using IPC-A-610 Standards, visual aids, BOMs, and procedures.
- Directing products for rework and confirming completion, interfacing with source inspectors, and preparing documentation packages for first article requirements.
- Conducting process audits, customer quality assurance, and maintaining ESD integrity in the production environment.
- Participating in training, maintaining workplace cleanliness, and possibly training other employees.
Requirements
This Job Might Be An Outstanding Fit If You Have:
- An Associate’s Degree in a related field (electronics focus preferred) and at least 2 years of inspection experience in a high-volume, contract-manufacturing environment.
- IPC-A-600/610/620 Certification.
- Familiarity with 3D Automated Optical Inspection (3DAOI) machines.
- Ability to perform inspections following blueprints and written procedures.
- Skills in using electro-mechanical tools, basic hand tools, and ERP system experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.
- Ability to work well independently or as part of a team, and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- ESD training and ISO 9001 experience (preferred).
- Meet US Person requirements as defined in 22 CRF Part 120.15 due to ITAR-controlled technical data.
