About the Role

This position is located in Milwaukie, OR and is within the Fire Safety & Power Systems Division (FSPSD). It is a key supplier in select aircraft and ground vehicle markets, spanning business jet, narrow body, wide body, and fighter jet platforms as well as military ground vehicles. We work directly with some of the largest aerospace companies in the world, including Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, Lockheed Martin, and Raytheon, among others.

Responsibilities

  • Performs required measurements and data collection of all purchased and final Materials requiring inspection.
  • Communicates nonconforming results to OECO Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality Assurance.
  • Aids in First Article inspections, Customer Source Inspection, and when applicable, will be certified as Designated Quality Representative for applicable customers.
  • Supports and participates in internal and customer audits.

Requirements

  • A minimum one year of inspection experience preferred, 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Knowledge of assembly drawings, parts lists, revisions, workmanship standards, standard inspection procedures, work instructions, and wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds over 10 times per day.
  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A Certified Quality Technician (CRT) certificate or other certificates from a recognized organization is a plus.
  • Strong math skills required.
  • Blue print reading and GD&T classes recommended.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $XX.XX - $XXX.XX per hour.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is typically Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
