Quality Incoming Goods Inspector

ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a high energy and results-oriented Incoming Goods Inspector who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ISO 9001 standard compliance
• Incoming goods inspections
• Recording inspections on company server via tablet
• Investigation of production/supplier nonconformities and identification of root causes
• Initiate Supplier US-S Complaint process with Quality Technicians
• Communicate nonconformities to Production/Purchasing Departments
• Investigation of inventory/shipping issues
• Use of calipers, micrometers, height gauges and other measuring devices
• Work with Service Department when handling non-conforming product that needs repairs
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and technical expertise
• Experience/ability to read product drawings/blueprints, work instructions, and SOPs
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook
• Previous experience working with ERP systems
• Analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• Previous experience with nonconformance and corrective action processes
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational skills
• Customer oriented personality
