Quality Improvement Specialist
About the role
Coordinates and facilitates the Peer Review processes with the Medical Staff and supports and implements the Quality Improvement processes with customers in order to enhance the quality of patient care. Provides technical and analytical support for data analysis and evaluation.
This position is full-time and works 8-hour day shifts at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate Peer Review processes with the Medical Staff.
- Support and implement Quality Improvement processes with customers to enhance patient care quality.
- Provide technical and analytical support for data analysis and evaluation.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in clinical health care, including direct experience in performance improvement.
- Experience with clinical databases and patient outcomes measurements.
Qualifications
- Preferred upon hire: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
- Experience with information technology applications.
- Experience in the tools and techniques of performance improvement.
- Experience in use of desktop software such as Excel, PowerPoint, Access, or proficiency within 6 months of hire.
- Statistical analysis experience or proficiency within 6 months of hire.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $41.81 - $64.91 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
