About the role

The Quality Improvement and Infection Control Coordinator is responsible for implementing and maintaining infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement infection prevention and control programs
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with infection control standards
  • Provide training and education to staff on infection control practices
  • Monitor and report on infection rates and trends
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve overall quality of care

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Experience in infection control and quality improvement
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of infection control guidelines and best practices
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
