About the role
The Quality Improvement and Infection Control Coordinator is responsible for implementing and maintaining infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement infection prevention and control programs
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with infection control standards
- Provide training and education to staff on infection control practices
- Monitor and report on infection rates and trends
- Collaborate with other departments to improve overall quality of care
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Experience in infection control and quality improvement
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Knowledge of infection control guidelines and best practices
- Experience with data analysis and reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
