Hexagon Autonomous Solutions is searching for a Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental (QHSE) Manager to lead Antcom’s quality management, regulatory compliance, health and safety, environmental, and facilities functions. In this hands-on leadership role, you will own the systems and processes that ensure our products, operations, and workplace consistently meet customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.

This position is based in Torrance, California.

Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve Antcom’s Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with applicable ISO, regulatory, customer, and internal requirements.
  • Develop and monitor quality KPIs and objectives, identify trends and risks, and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Lead internal and external audits, including audit planning, findings, corrective actions, and certification activities.
  • Manage nonconformances and corrective actions, ensuring effective root cause analysis, implementation, and closure.
  • Maintain quality policies, procedures, documentation, and applicable regulatory and product approvals.
  • Lead implementation of new ISO standards and certifications, including gap assessments, action plans, documentation, training, and audits.
  • Lead the Quality team and incoming/outgoing inspection, ensuring products meet customer and internal requirements.
  • Manage customer quality issues, returns, and repairs, including investigation, communication, and corrective action.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and other functions to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead Antcom’s Health & Safety program and Safety Committee, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Conduct workplace safety inspections, maintain safety policies and programs, and coordinate required employee safety training.
  • Oversee facility operations and maintenance, including management of facilities personnel, contractors, and improvement activities.

Requirements

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in quality, manufacturing, engineering, operations, EHS, or a related discipline, including experience in a leadership or management capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and improving a Quality Management System in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and experience supporting or leading internal and external quality audits.
  • Experience managing nonconformances, root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, inspection processes, document control, and quality performance metrics.
  • Experience interpreting and implementing regulatory, customer, and quality-system requirements.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to establish expectations, drive accountability, and influence across functions and levels of an organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and open-minded approach with a strong willingness to take ownership and do what is necessary to move the business forward.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations applicable to California manufacturing operations.
  • Experience leading Safety Committees and developing workplace safety programs and training.
  • Experience managing customer quality issues, RMAs, repair processes, and customer corrective action requests.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement training or certification.

Pay

Hiring salary range: $104,600 - $167,300 per annum.
