Job Description The Quality Engineer Technician is responsible for supporting quality assurance and quality control activities within manufacturing and production processes. This role ensures that products meet company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements through inspections, testing, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will report directly to our Quality Engineer Manager, and you will work out of our Acton, MA location on an On-site work schedule. Key Responsibilities Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials and finished productsConduct measurement and testing using tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM (if applicable)Record and analyze quality data to identify trends, defects, and areas for improvementSupport investigation of non-conforming materials and assist with root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CAPA)Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and control plansEnsure compliance with ISO standards, company procedures, and customer requirementsAssist in process audits and internal quality auditsCollaborate with production, engineering, and supplier teams to resolve quality issuesSupport implementation of continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)Participate in first article inspections (FAI) and validation activitiesMaintain calibration records and ensure proper use of inspection equipment Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE High school diploma or equivalent2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or quality environmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsExperience with inspection tools and measurement systemsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office, quality systems software) WE VALUE College degree or technical certification in Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferredBasic knowledge of quality systems and standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.)Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysisFamiliarity with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologiesExperience with SAP Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS)Certification such as ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status. The annual base salary range for this position is $49,500 to $61,800. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
