Quality Engineer Lead (Data Platforms)

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Engineer Lead to join our Communications, Media, and Technology group to champion quality strategy across enterprise data platforms. In this client-facing role, you will lead the validation of complex ETL/ELT data pipelines, Snowflake environments, and API integrations for high-impact data initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality engineering strategies and test execution for large-scale data platform projects.
• Develop and execute advanced SQL scripts to validate data accuracy, transformations, and warehouse performance in Snowflake.
• Validate end-to-end ETL/ELT data pipelines and API integrations.
• Collaborate closely with client stakeholders, developers, and release teams to ensure seamless production releases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering with a focus on Data Warehousing and ETL/ELT testing.
• 5+ years of advanced SQL experience (Snowflake preferred).
• 5+ years of experience with API testing, Linux/Shell, Git/Bitbucket, AWS, and JIRA.
• Strong client-facing communication and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Domain experience in Communications, Media, or Advertising Analytics.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing capabilities.
