Responsibilities
- Lead test strategy definition and execution on a Scrum team
- Drive quality outcomes by identifying early risks and influencing design
- Lead automation strategy including framework design and CI/CD integration
- Identify systemic quality risks and collaborate across teams for solutions
- Mentor engineers on automation best practices and test strategy
- Contribute best practices for testing, automation, and quality engineering
- Engage in cross-team initiatives impacting quality strategy
Qualifications
- 8+ years in software quality engineering in high-scale environments
- 6+ years designing automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing
- Deep expertise in automation development with JavaScript, Python, or C#
- Strong experience with IDEs like VS Code or Eclipse
- Expert in integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Prowess in leading automation architecture decisions
- Strong understanding of API automation, service virtualization, and test data management
