Quality Engineer Intern

Key Responsibilities

  • Aid in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality standards and testing procedures.
  • Conduct tests and inspections to identify issues, defects, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve product issues.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements in product design and manufacturing processes.
  • Prepare quality reports and documentation, including test results, defect tracking, and corrective action plans.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address quality issues.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Aid in ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support cross-functional teams to ensure quality assurance throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with basic quality engineering principles, testing methodologies, and tools.
  • Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and data collection.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Compensation Information

$24-$28 per hour
