Quality Engineer III
About the role
Reporting to the Manager, Quality Assurance, Quality Engineer III is responsible for delivering high-quality technology products and services. They will ensure that products not only meet regulatory requirements but also fulfill the high standards necessary for customer satisfaction and market competitiveness. By proactively identifying and mitigating risks, implementing robust quality systems, and fostering continuous improvement, Quality Engineer III will contribute significantly to the advancement of technology and the delivery of superior products.
Responsibilities
- Create scalable and maintainable test frameworks that support various testing needs, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide detailed reports to inform development and quality assurance strategies.
- Maintain records of tests, inspections, and other QA activities for compliance and continuous improvement purposes.
- Develop test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on the business, user, and functional/nonfunctional requirements.
- Contribute to weekly planning and refinement meetings.
- Participate in retrospectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.
- Strong programming skills in C#.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must have working knowledge of test management and manual/automated testing tools for regression, cross-browser, and functional testing.
- Must have 8+ years of working test automation experience.
- Must have 2+ years of experience working with Playwright or similar.
- Provide insights on best practices to ensure that deadlines are executed.
- Must have working knowledge/experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans or similar.
- Ability to showcase an understanding of general testing techniques such as functional, integration, performance, and regression testing.
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
