Other duties may be assigned.
- Directly supports APQP and responsible for all plant deliverables.
- Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
- Ensures conformance to TS16949.
- Measures and tests products and tabulates data concerning materials, products, or process quality and reliability.
- May direct others to perform these tasks.
- Uses CMM and other lab equipment.
- Conducts training sessions on process control activities.
- May develop and implement methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.
- Provides technical analysis in the areas of: problem solving, inspection, and test methods.
- Responsible for quality plans and the development of control plans, flow diagrams, FMEA process control checks and inspection procedures.
- Affirms compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and product quality issued by OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
Daily communication
- Daily communication with customers and co-workers via email, phone, internet portals.
Responsibilities
- Prevents all Environmental and Safety nonconformities and stops any nonconforming operations until corrective action has been completed.
- Must actively support our Health, Safety and Environmental Policies, immediately report all dangerous situations and correct them when able to do so safely, participate in all required Safety Training, meetings, inspections and use all required PPE.
Qualifications
- Desired Skills and Experience:
- Entry level quality engineer - quality focus and attention to detail are essential.

- Self-motivated individual with good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
