Quality Engineer II
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 manufacturing standards and regulations
- Manage tough conversations with demanding aerospace customers and regulatory agencies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer requirements and RMA complaints and ensure regulatory compliance
- Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies including root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques
- Proficiency in data analytics tools to take in data and transform into useful information
- Experience with quality auditing and data analysis to monitor and improve product and process quality
WE VALUE
- Experience with SAP ERP or S4 HANA system
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and certifications
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence quality improvements
- Customer interface experience with product issues or quality returns
- Familiarity with AS9100 & ISO 9001 industry quality standards
