Quality Engineer II

About the role

Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product. Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering or technical discipline and 2+ years of engineering/technical experience or 6+ years of engineering/technical experience in lieu of degree
• Ability to read, interpret and understand a drawing, print and specification
• Communication in a clear, concise and professional manner with multiple customers in different organizations, functions and the US Government
• Interpersonal communication in verbal and written formats
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to learn BAE Systems software and data management programs
• Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplined team
• Ability to work independently with little to no oversight
• Producing high quality work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technology
• 0–8 years of experience

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $86,580 – $147,186. Individual salaries are determined by business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications including skills, education, and experience.
