Quality Engineer II
Primary Responsibilities
- Possess ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Drive corrective action through root cause identification and structured problem solving
- Owning the quality metrics of the responsible area
- Experience with PDCA, A3, DOE, 5-Why, Fish Bone Diagram, Lean Sigma, DMAIC
- Expertise in both using and coaching others in approaches
- Strong knowledge of quality management and lean manufacturing principles
- Document control, product and process qualification, and audit processes
- Error Proofing, Eyes for Waste, Visual Management
- Able to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and standards and convert into manufacturing control plans and work instructions
- Developing process validation plans and documenting results
- Leading cross-functional team meetings, kaizen events, and value stream mapping sessions
- Usage of computer software tools, such as Excel or Minitab, to analyze data to detect trends and abnormalities
- Provides quality assurance support to ensure that the products produced are met with quality requirements defined by the company to both internal and external customers
Qualification and Skill Requirements
- BS degree in Engineering or Technology
- 3-8 years’ experience in a manufacturing, continuous process environment required
- Functional AutoCAD skills and geometric tolerancing
- Knowledge of PFMEA, quality programs, SPC, process capability and lean manufacturing principles
- Working knowledge of measurement tools and systems
- ASQ CQE/CSSGB/CSSBB preferred

Pay Range
$90,039.00 - $139,561.00

- Profit Sharing: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
