About the role

As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating product conformity of medical devices throughout their lifecycle at the distribution center. You will oversee activities from receiving, installation, servicing, and end of life from a quality perspective to ensure user and patient safety.

Responsibilities

  • Perform receiving product inspections
  • Follow established procedures and processes to determine compliance of product
  • Document and report nonconforming product through Nonconformance Reports (NCR)
  • Support creation, revision, and implementation of processes and written instructions
  • Review servicing records for work performed on product
  • Perform other tasks within the functional work area, as instructed by the Supervisor or Designee

Requirements

  • Must possess good communication (oral and written) skills
  • Teamwork and customer focus oriented
  • Computer literate with proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) or similar office applications
  • 1-3 years experience in a regulated environment, preferably in the medical device field
  • Experience performing product inspections preferred
  • Experience working within a quality team, with a basic understanding of the associated standards and regulations preferred

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
