Roles & Responsibilities
- Develops, promotes, and executes quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents, and reports
- Creates advancements in current quality engineering practices
- Captures, analyzes, and develops quality measurement data
- Coordinates day-to-day activities of quality engineering and inspector staff in support of production
- Performs statistical data analysis and identifies quality improvement opportunities
- Performs evidence-based root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Maintains and monitors the application of improvement initiatives
- Works with process & program owners to prepare, analyze, and improve quality metrics for management & program reviews
- Reviews new or modified documents, procedures, diagrams, and/or flow charts to determine if they will perform according to user request and conform to contractual, AS9100 or QMS requirements
- Participates in contract reviews; document and disseminate information gleaned to pertinent parties
- Identifies and recommends procedures and workflow improvements. Works with others to develop and streamline workflow
- Participates in internal, regulatory, and customer audits
- Performs inspection activities as needed, using common hand tools, drawings, CAD models, etc.
Qualifications
- Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3)
- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
- Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed
- Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate to agree to enter into a Continuous Evaluation program
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another technical field required
- Manufacturing experience, including experience in composite fabrication with practical application of quality assurance a plus
- Commercial/military aerospace experience is preferred
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills
- Strong computer skills including QA applications, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases

Pay
Salary range for this role is between $83,000 - $145,000, plus discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off shifts.
