About the role

As part of the Quality Engineering team, you will advocate and uphold the standards, industry-leading practices, and protocols outlined in the quality assurance and testing framework. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for securing project success and maintaining exceptional standards. You will motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality, leveraging team members' unique strengths and managing performance to meet client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way. You embrace technology and innovation to enhance your delivery and encourage others to do the same.

Responsibilities

  • Expertise in ERP Automation testing combined with Quality Engineering
  • Lead teams and manage client accounts with strategic planning
  • Advocate and uphold quality assurance standards and practices
  • Mentor and develop junior staff to enhance their skills
  • Assure project success and uphold top standards
  • Motivate and inspire team members to deliver quality work
  • Leverage team strengths to meet client expectations
  • Identify opportunities to enhance business success
  • Embrace technology and innovation to improve delivery
  • Participate in reviews of user stories
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Solution Architects
  • Author Agile test plans and requirements traceability
  • Display proficiency in tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps
  • Offer UAT support and maintain QA environments
  • Conduct regular reviews of quality assurance metrics
  • Collaborate with DevOps engineering team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree or in lieu of a degree, demonstrating three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in technology for each missing year of college

  • Analyze and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system
  • Take ownership of projects, ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion
  • Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables
  • Develop skills outside your comfort zone, and encourage others to do the same
  • Effectively mentor others
  • Use the review of work as an opportunity to deepen the expertise of team members
  • Address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate
  • Uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards (e.g., refer to specific PwC tax and audit guidance), the Firm's code of conduct, and independence requirements

Qualifications

  • ISTQB, CSQA/CSQE or equivalent certifications
  • Consulting experience working in a Big 4 or major consulting firm

Pay

The salary range for this position is $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
