Quality Engineer - Composite Aircraft Manufacturing
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develops, promotes, and executes quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents, and reports
- Creates advancements in current quality engineering practices
- Captures, analyzes, and assists with developing quality measurement data
- Performs statistical data analysis and identifies quality improvement opportunities
- Performs evidence-based root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Maintains and monitors the application of improvement initiatives
- Participates in contract reviews; document and disseminate information gleaned to pertinent parties
- Participates in internal, regulatory, and customer audits
- Performs inspection activities as needed, using common hand tools, drawings, CAD models, etc.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills
- Strong computer skills including QA applications, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another technical field required
- Manufacturing experience, including experience in composite fabrication with practical application of quality assurance a plus
- Commercial/military aerospace experience is preferred
Special Considerations
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

Wage Information
Salary range for this role is between $83,000 - $145,000, plus discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts.
