Quality Engineer - BLUvera (Fridley, MN)

SUMMARY

Mortenson is seeking a Quality Engineer for a project in Fridley, MN. The role involves quality control processes, collaborating with senior managers, managing project quality, and training personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Foster strong teamwork and diversity
• Build and maintain cross-cultural relationships
• Implement and oversee the Quality Management Plan
• Conduct quality inspections and manage Non-Conformance Notices (NCN)
• Train and manage project personnel
• Resolve technical issues with customers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Discuss and resolve design document issues
• Identify and implement best practices
• Work effectively with diverse individuals and organizational levels

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent experience
• One year of experience within the design, engineering, or construction industry
• Current driver’s license
• Knowledge of the design-bid-build process
• Good mechanical aptitude and knowledge in large crane, mechanical system, and utility-based medium and high voltage electrical systems use
• Self-starter, independent worker, and computer literate
• Strong teamwork orientation
• Basic knowledge of construction processes, systems, and project management
• Effective listening skills and communication
