Responsibilities
- Applies problem-solving methods and tools to resolve complex issues.
- Works with suppliers to improve products through material or process changes.
- Engages in customer PPAP’s (Production Part Approval Process) and requirements.
- Determines root cause and implements corrective action to improve internal and external processes.
- Performs customer visits and supplier audits to drive improvements internally and externally as well as strengthening customer relationships.
- Partners with customers and suppliers to improve products through material or process changes.
- Affords up to 10% travel potential to suppliers (minimal).
- Affords assistance with completion of PFMEA on existing new products with engineering team.
- Affords development and completion of Control Plans for existing or new products with assistance of engineering team.
Desired Experience
- Knowledge of internal audit methodologies related to various quality systems.
- Proven problem solving and problem resolution.
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- Ability to interpret statistical software along with MS Office programs.
- Familiarity with calibration processes is a plus.
- Ability to read specifications and interpret blueprints.
- Customer service focused and detail oriented.
- PFMEA process, participation and documentation of PFMEA’s experience a plus but no required.
