QUALITY ENGINEER

Responsibilities

• Aid in the development and implementation of Quality Improvement Plans to achieve Zero Defects and Zero Quality Escapes.
• Reduce the Cost of Quality (COQ) and standardize quality best practices globally.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Lines, and Manufacturing/R&M Shop on a regular basis.
• Present plans and updates to internal teams.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of experience in Quality or Engineering (with Quality focus).
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience with quality-related continuous improvement programs.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical notes, procedures, and specifications.
• Preferred: Root Cause Analysis, Incident Investigation Training, Lean & Six Sigma Training, Document management and control experience, Experience using JDE, Experience leading in a matrixed organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
