Quality Engineer

What Sets You Apart

• BS Engineering or quality-related discipline required (metallurgical engineering or materials science preferred)
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality role
• Experience with quality tools and methodologies: Proficient in SPC, FMEA, 8D, and Six Sigma practices
• Regulatory and standards compliance: Hands-on experience with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, API Q1, or similar quality management systems
• CQE or equivalent is preferred. Certified ISO / API Q1 auditor / lead auditor status is preferred
• Cross-functional collaboration: Proven ability to work with engineering, production, and quality systems teams to drive quality improvements
• Strong computer skills, including O365 Suite applications and the ability to learn new applications as needed or required
• Proficiency in using quality management software and tools
• Data analysis and statistics software (e.g. PowerBI, Minitab) experience are a plus
• Strong analytical ability and excellent attention to details
• Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, standards, and regulations such as ISO and/or API Standards
• Thorough understanding of physical and chemical testing requirements and methods (e.g. ASTM, NACE)
