About the role
As a Quality Engineer on the Problem Resolution Team (PRT), you will work closely with domestic and external supply chains to contain escapes, prevent defects, and provide data-driven insights into the root causes of non-quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead activities to effectively manage non-conformance and protect the supply chain from quality escapes.
- Provide coaching and support to suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Support problem-solving activities at suppliers.
- Deliver data and analysis to Supply Management Teams to monitor and measure supplier performance and effectiveness.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve quality across the supply chain.
Requirements
- Associate degree and 4 years of experience in supply chain, engineering, quality, or operations, OR
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in supply chain, engineering, quality, or operations, OR
- Master’s degree in supply chain, engineering, quality, or operations, OR
- JD/PhD degree in supply chain, engineering, quality, or operations, OR
- 6 years of experience in supply chain, engineering, quality, or operations in lieu of a degree.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical degree with operational quality experience.
- Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and presentation skills.
- Interpersonal savvy, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to influence others.
- Business acumen in quality, improvement, manufacturing, and HSE activities.
- Knowledge and application of quality and business intelligence tools (e.g., 8D investigation, improvement methodologies).
- Ability to coach and mentor others.
- Strong customer focus.
Pay
$84,351 – $137,071 annually.
