Quality Engineer
About the role
Drive improvement in our products and processes to achieve a high level of Quality and Customer Happiness. Oversee and champion the corrective action system, inclusive of: supervising open action status, receiving and reviewing customer responses, working with departments for accurate completion of actions, creating periodic reports and metrics, and auditing to verify the efficiency of corrective actions. Perform root cause analysis, applying tools such as 5-whys, fishbone diagrams and change analysis. When feasible, implement and apply statistical quality methods such as Statistical Process Controls (SPC), Statistical Quality Controls (SQC), Design of Experiments (DOE), Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) methodology, Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R), and Hypothesis testing to drive continuous improvement. Oversee, implement, and maintain the company's ISO 9001:2015 program.

- When feasible, implement and apply statistical quality methods such as Statistical Process Controls (SPC), Statistical Quality Controls (SQC), Design of Experiments (DOE), Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) methodology, Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R), and Hypothesis testing to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or another technical field is required.
- Validated multi-year experience in a Quality Role.
- Multiple years of experience leading a company-wide ISO 9000 program.
- A minimum of three years of Quality-related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a sheet metal fabrication and electronic assembly environment is a plus.
- Ability to optimally plan, direct and coordinate activities.
- Ability to develop, maintain and improve quality processes.
Qualifications
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma tools is highly desirable.
- Multiple years of experience leading a company-wide ISO 9000 program.
- A minimum of three years of Quality-related experience in a manufacturing environment.
