Quality Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in field that supports Milwaukee needs & growth
• Advanced problem-solving skills
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to interpret written test methods/procedures and complete controlled experiments
• Utilizing exploded diagrams and blueprints
• Able to work under reduced supervision
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects
• Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Desired: Leadership experience, Knowledge of basic metrology methods and equipment, Knowledge of warehouse management systems, Project Management experience

• Maintain and uphold all safety standards and requirements
• Oversee and manage rework operations and technicians
• Develop & revise Quality procedures, SOPs, work instructions & other quality documents
• Maintain database of sample measurements and data collections
• Develop inventory tracking & decision tree for disposition
• Lead and attend meetings with upper management to provide updates as needed/requested
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, inventory, etc… to establish specs and controls for certain inventory items
• Create, monitor and closeout NCMR, SCAR, and 8D reports in Milwaukee’s Quality Management System (QMS)
• Point of contact in the DC for battery and other tightly controlled products
