About the role
Millennium Print Group (MPG) is a subsidiary of The Pokémon Company International, located in the Research Triangle Park and Piedmont Triad regions of North Carolina. Founded in 2014, MPG has grown rapidly, nearly tripling in size since 2019, and is committed to producing high-quality trading card products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain quality control plans for printing, finishing, and packaging operations.
- Analyze manufacturing processes using SPC, statistical methods, and quality metrics to improve performance.
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI), process capability studies, and quality validations.
- Support internal, customer, and third-party audits while ensuring compliance with ISO and quality management systems.
- Monitor scrap, rework, yield, and production quality metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Partner with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to improve manufacturing processes.
- Support new product launches, equipment validations, and capital improvement projects.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Typically requires 3–4 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing quality.
- Experience in printing, packaging, or high-volume manufacturing environments preferred.
- Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, CAPA, Gauge R&R, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Minitab, and other quality analysis software.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification preferred.
