Quality Engineer

Description

Partner with engineering and operations teams to ensure designs meet fabrication and quality requirements
Develop, maintain, and improve quality procedures and compliance documentation
Support programme requirements and ensure alignment with customer specifications
Lead training initiatives on quality processes and standards for new and existing employees
Perform detailed inspections using specialised tools to verify product conformance
Monitor and drive vendor quality compliance and adherence to required standards
Analyze processes and implement improvements to strengthen quality systems
Maintain and enhance quality control frameworks and evaluation protocols

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2-3+ years of experience in a quality engineering or similar role
• Strong understanding of AS9100 quality standards
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
• Experience with CMM inspection processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset
